Appendix C: About State-Level Features

State-level users have a special landing page called the Dashboard Selector. You can use the Dashboard Selector to access Centralized Reporting at the state level or the district level.

Accessing the State Dashboard

You can view a state Dashboard showing results for tests taken in your state. This helps you understand how your state is performing overall.

To view the state Dashboard:

1.Log in to Centralized Reporting. The Dashboard Selector page appears.

2.From the state and district options, select State View.

3.Select View.

4.The Dashboard Generator page appears, allowing you to select test groups just as any other user would. When you have made your selections and clicked Go to Dashboard, the state Dashboard appears, looking similar to a Performance on Tests report. It displays an assessments table with up to 10 of the tests you selected, sorted by Date Last Taken with the most recent tests first.

Unlike other dashboards, the state Dashboard does not allow you to drill down into the results for any single test, nor does it allow you to generate Individual Student Reports (ISR).

5.Optional: To load 10 more tests at a time, click the link below the table that says Click here to view more tests in this test group.

6.Optional: To view a different set of tests, use the filter panel on the left. The filters are the same as on the dashboards for school- and district-level users.

7.Optional: To sort, click the column headers that have sorting arrows Column Sort. Sorting affects the whole list, not just the tests currently displayed.

Any printouts or exports of this table will include the entire list, not only the tests currently displayed in the UI.

To return to the Dashboard Selector, select Dashboard Selector in the upper-left corner.

Accessing Centralized Reporting at the District Level
