Administering Online Tests

The TA Site allows you to administer proctored assessments to students testing in person or remotely. You can start a test session immediately or schedule a test session to start in the future. Only the tests that you select will be available to students who join your session.

For all test sessions, the TA Site generates a unique session ID that students can use to join the session. For remote sessions, the TA site generates a link to the session, which you can send to your students. For scheduled test sessions, the TA Site generates a link to the session that you should provide before the day of the test.

The basic workflow for administering tests immediately is as follows:

1.The TA selects the required tests and starts the in-person or remote test session.

2.The TA provides the session ID to the students.

For remote test sessions, the TA also provides a session link to the students testing remotely.

3.Students sign in and request approval for tests.

4.The TA reviews students’ requests and approves them for testing.

5.Students complete and submit their tests.

6.The TA stops the test session and logs out.

The basic workflow for administering scheduled tests is as follows:

1.The TA schedules a test window and selects the tests to be administered.

2.The TA provides the session ID and session link to the students prior to testing.

3.On the day of the test, the TA joins the test session. The process then continues the same way as it would for sessions started immediately.
