Creating Test Improprieties

You can create a test impropriety for a given test result.

To create test improprieties:

1.Retrieve the result for which you want to create a test impropriety by doing the following:

a.From the Test Improprieties task menu on the dashboard, select Create Test Improprieties. The Create Test Improprieties page appears.

b. Select a request type. For a list of request types, Table 23.

c.Use the drop-down list and related text field to set search criteria. You can search by EDUID, Session ID, or Results ID.

Note: A Results ID is the identification number TDS assigns to a specific test opportunity that is linked to a specific student. You can view Results IDs on the Plan and Manage Testing report. For more information, Generating Plan and Manage Testing Report.

d.Click Search. The retrieved results appear at the bottom of the Create Test Improprieties page.

2.Mark the checkbox for each result for which you want to create a test impropriety, and click Create.

3. From the Select a reason from the list drop-down, select a reason for creating the test impropriety.
The reasons may vary based on the test impropriety type.

4. Optional: In the Additional Comments field, enter comments when the field is available.
Some appeal types may require more information in the Additional Comments field to submit the request.

Note: Providing comments can help expedite the approval process.

5.Click Submit. TIDE displays a confirmation message.
