Adding Test Windows

When you create or edit a test window at the district level, all schools within that district's hierarchy administer the test during that window—except those schools that have their own customized window.

To create a test window:

  1. From the Test Windows task menu on the dashboard, select Add Test Windows. The Add Test Windows page appears. For more information about using record forms, the section Navigating Record Forms.

  2. In the Test Window Information panel, do the following:

    1. In the Window Name field, enter a new name for the test window.

      Alert: The Window Name field only accepts alphanumeric characters. Characters like spaces, dashes, and underscores are not allowed for test window names.

    2. Mark the type of entity for which you want to add a test window.

    3. Make selections from the drop-down lists that are available based on the Entity Type selected.

    4. In the Window Start Date and Window End Date fields, enter the test window’s start and end dates.

  3. In the test category section, select the tests to add to this test window. Use the plus and minus icons to expand or collapse options under each category. Selected tests appear with check marks, while categories with selected tests show a circle within the checkbox.

  4. Select Save, and in the affirmation dialog box select Continue.

TIDE creates the test window, and it is immediately available in the TA Interface.
