Modifying an Existing Test Window
You can modify a custom test window by changing its name and dates, or by adding or removing tests.
To modify a test window:
1.From the Test Windows task menu on the dashboard, select View/Edit/Export Test Windows. The View/Edit/Export Test Windows page appears.
2.Retrieve the test window you want to view or edit by following the procedure in the section Searching for Records.
3.You can review the list of tests that are included in each Test Window in the section under the ExistingTestIDs column.
4.In the list of retrieved test windows, click for the test window whose details you want to view. The View/Edit/Export Test Windows form appears. This form is similar to the form used to add test windows.
5.Optional: In the Test Window Information panel, do the following:
a.In the Window Name field, enter a new name for the test window.
Alert: The Window Name field only accepts alphanumeric characters. Characters like spaces, dashes, and underscores are not allowed for test window names.
b.In the Window Start Date and Window End Date fields, adjust the test window’s start and end dates.
6.You can review a partial list of tests that are included in the Test Window in the section below the Test Window Information. You can the full list from the test category section when the sections are expanded.
7.Optional: In the test category section, edit the tests to add to this test window.
a.To find tests currently in the window, look at the categories to find the checked box(es) or circle(s) within the checkbox(es).
b.Use the plus and minus icons to expand or collapse options under each category. This is helpful to tests not set at the main category level, identified by a circle within the checkbox. Selected tests appear with check marks.
c.Clear checkboxes to remove tests by clicking where there is a check mark, and select checkboxes to add additional tests.
8.Select Save, and in the affirmation dialog box select Continue. All tests now display on the grid.
