Viewing and Editing Students

You can view and edit detailed information about a student's record on this page. To understand how to view changes made to a student's record, review the Viewing and Editing Students section.

To view and edit student details:

1.From the Students task menu on the dashboard, select View/Edit/Export Students. The View/Edit/Export Students page appears.

2.Retrieve the student record you want to view or edit by following the procedure in the section Searching for Records.

3.In the list of retrieved students, click view record icon for the student whose account you want to view. The View/Edit Student: [Student's Name] form appears.

4.From the Student Participation panel, view the student’s test participation report, if available. For information about the report columns, Table 22.

5.From the Roster Association panel, view rosters to which the student is currently active, if available.

6.If your user role allows it, modify the student's record as required. Use Table 7 as a reference.

Note: About SAT and PSAT Accommodations

Accommodations for the SAT and PSAT 10 must be approved by the College Board’s Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD). Student accommodations for the PSAT 8/9 are decided by the student’s school and do not need to be reviewed by the College Board. For any SAT or PSAT 10 accommodations being administered to this student, please indicate whether they are testing with a College Board Approved or State Allowed Accommodation. For any accommodation being administered that is not listed in the sections below, select “Yes” for “Non-Embedded Accommodations.”

State-Allowed Accommodation — student test scores are not eligible to be reported to colleges, universities, or scholarship organizations.

Alert: Test Settings in the TA Interface Changing a test setting in TIDE after the test starts does not update the student's test setting if the same test setting is available in the TA Interface. In this case, you must change the test setting in the TA Interface.

7.Click Save.

8.In the affirmation dialog box, click Continue to return to the list of student records.

Student's statewide identification number. Student’s unique Native American Student Information System ID. Student’s Registration Number. State-assigned student identifier, which is unique within the district associated with the student.

LEP Status

English Language Proficiency Level Indicates to what extent student is an English-language learner. Indicates student's English Language Proficiency status.

Indicates student is, or whose parents or spouses are, migratory agricultural workers, including migratory dairy workers, or migratory fishers, and who, in the preceding 36 months, in order to obtain, or accompany such parents or spouses, in order to obtain, temporary or seasonal employment and have moved from one district to another.

Student's first day of school (ELL students only).

Limited English Proficiency Entry Date (MMDDYYYY)

TTS Tracking
STAAR 3-8 Above Grade Enter a grade for above-grade testing for this subject. For reading and mathematics, one of 5 grades (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) should be selected. For science, one of 2 grades (5, 8) should be selected. For social studies, enter grade 8 if the student is below grade 8. Only grades above the student's current enrolled grade are valid.
