About the Banner

A banner appears at the top of every page in TIDE. The banner is standardized across all CAI systems. The banner includes the following features:

• Switch Applications menu: This drop-down list allows you to switch to other CAI systems.
• General Resources: This drop-down list allows you to access various resources needed for testing, such as test administration forms.
• Secure File Center: This button allows you to open the shared Secure File Center and access the users, students, students' test settings, test windows, and appeals data files you exported in TIDE, files you exported in any other CAI system, as well as any secure documents, if available.
• Help: This button opens the online TIDE User Guide.
• User Account Menu: This is the drop-down on the right showing the name associated with your account. This drop-down list give you access to:
  • Change your role
  • View and edit your contact information
  • Reset your password
  • Log out
