Appendix A: Understand the Content Tab Tables

This appendix provides more information about the columns in the tables that appear on the content tabs for Items and Tests. You can sort some of these columns by selecting the headers.

• The following columns appear in the tables on both the Items and Tests tabs:
  • Name: Displays the name of the content and its status. For Draft items and tests, you can select Edit in this column to access the builder page for the content. This column also displays any labels you assigned to the content.
    • You can use in this column to display additional details about the content, such as its description. For items, the additional details may also include the item’s aligned standard descriptions, supported content types, and linked tests. For tests, the additional details may also include the selected test tools and a table of items that have been added to the test.
    • You can select next to the name of an item or test to save it to your Favorites list, which can be used to filter the content tabs.
    • All new items and tests have a Draft status when you first create them. A test’s status changes to Published when you publish that test. An item’s status changes to Published when it appears on a test that has been published.
  • Grade: Displays the grade levels associated with the content.
  • Subject: Displays the subject associated with the content.
  • Created by: Displays the name of the user who created the content.
  • Date: Displays the date on which the content was last modified by you or another user.
• The following columns appear in the table on the Items tab only:
  • Features: This column may display the following icons:
    • This icon indicates how many tests the item has been added to.
  • Item Type: Displays the type of item template that was used to create the item.
  • Standard(s): Displays the code for the standard aligned to the item.
• The following columns appear in the table on the Tests tab only:
  • # of Items: Displays the total number of items added to the test.
  • Test Window: The date range during which the test will be available to administer to students. You can select the link in this column to edit the date range in a pop-up window.
