Manage Content in DAISI

DAISI allows users to customize client portal content elements using the Content tab.

Content elements belong to the following types:

• Announcements typically appear in an announcements feed on the portal. They may announce test window close dates, new versions of the Secure Browser, or newly available practice tests, among other things.

• Events

• Resources are resource files available to clients, such as guides for parents, manuals for technology coordinators, and training materials for educators.

• Resource Lists are sets of resources grouped together. For example, training PowerPoints about using TIDE may be grouped in a list.

• HTML elements are HTML files that display as pages on the portal. These are used to display highly customized content, such as pages containing embedded videos.

You can perform multiple actions on content elements. The available actions vary depending on your role and the elements’ statuses.

• Create a Content Element

• Clone a Content Element

• Edit a Content Element

• Commit a Content Element

• View a Content Element’s Version History: This action is explained in the Manage Listed Content Elements or Card Decks section.
